Itinerary
Day 1
Most of you arrive throughout the day on Monday. Genevieve Wine & Travel representative will all meet you at the luggage claim area to provide you with the transportation to the resort. After you are checked in to the resort, the rest of the day is at leisure for you to enjoy the facilities and surroundings.
Day 2
This morning, we leave Le Club Mougins 9:00 am and head to the beautiful city of Nice. Here we will enjoy a panoramic tour of the French Riviera capital, taking in the many ‘piazzas’ with their 17th and 18th-century Baroque churches, strolling the winding alleys filled with quaint shops and cafes where the Niçois people meet each other and watch the world go by! We’ll visit the stunning Cours Saleya and a flower market featuring hundreds of stalls with plants, bouquets and cut flowers that show off their prettiest colors.
The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure to further explore Nice before returning to Le Club Mougins.
Day 3
We leave the resort at 9:00 am. Our first stop of the day is at Saint Paul de Vence village, which is built on a rocky outcrop and is one of the most beautiful villages in Provence. Here, you will have some free time to roam the cobbled streets before heading to the Maeght Foundation, a world-famous collection of art housed in a beautiful, light and airy building surrounded by peaceful woodlands.
France is famous for its production of perfume so your visit to the French Riviera would not be complete without a visit to the beautiful town of Grasse, the worldwide capital of perfume. “Pays de Grasse” offers the discreet Provençal charm featuring perched villages, a landscape dotted with olive trees and hills that gently roll down to the sea. After a tour of the perfume factory and a perfume workshop experience, you can enjoy free time to explore this beautiful town.
Day 4
Today at 9:00 am, we will head to the stunning principality of Monaco. Perched on a rock, we will explore the narrow streets of the old town and visit the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception where the Princes and Princesses of Monaco are buried (including Grace Kelly), before entering the Palace square which is dominated by the residence of Prince Albert II. Enjoy a visit inside the state apartments of the palace where the main attractions are the Throne Room and the Court of Honor, with its richly decorated marble staircase.
At exactly 11:55 a.m., stand in front of the Palace’s main entrance and enjoy the spectacular changing of the guard ceremony performed by the “Carabiniers” in full dress uniform.
You can purchase a ticket for Monaco’s little train tour to explore. You could even take the train to see neighboring Monte Carlo, home of the well-known casino, and the rich and famous!
Day 5
Famous for its annual film festival and the spectacular harbor filled with glamorous yachts, the town of Cannes is on our agenda today. We leave the resort at 9:00. Our tour starts in the area of the Old Port and Old Cannes, two of the most picturesque parts of the town. Enjoy sightseeing along the famous Promenade de la Croisette along the shore of the Mediterranean, filled with luxury hotels, palm trees, and overall elegance.
Day 6
This morning can either be at leisure to enjoy the resort facilities or you can join us on a short visit to the coastal delights of Antibes to discover the history and traditions of this Provencal city. From the Provencal market to the largest marina in Europe, we think you will enjoy this trip along the sunny streets of Antibes.
This evening is time for our farewell dinner at a local restaurant in the medieval village of Mougins, accompanied by the sounds of a local band playing a range of music to keep us entertained!
Day 7
All good things must come to an end and today is getaway day. There will be scheduled transfers from Le Club Mougins to Nice Airport for your journey home or your onward travel plans.
First Come, First Serve.
